Getting started

Webservices.nl is a framework that allows remote parties to transparently use its services as remote procedure calls.  These services include searching for addresses, generating graphical maps and route planners.  Using Webservices.nl you can easily build applications that have quick access to the latest data, from anywhere with internet access, without having to buy, manage and update databases yourself.  To get started you need an Account, which can be requested at http://www.webservices.nl/nl/11/developers.

Webservices.nl offers a number of data services.  Each of these services provides a set of methods to access data.  See the Services menu for the available services.

A small guide is available for developers that are implementing our services, it can be found in the menu under Implementation.  It highlights some important points and can help prevent a few common issues.  The section Implementing fallback is very important as it explains how to deal with problems connecting to one of our servers.

Support

There is a support forum available where we answer questions you may have regarding the information presented in the documentation.  You can also find a number of example applications that make use of our services at this forum.  The support forum can be found at http://support.webservices.nl.
